ABOUT ABOUT

Please join us for a celebration at The Dillon House in Topeka on Thursday, July 27, as we kickoff our year-long “Celebrating 130 Years of Sterling College” festivities.

Along with celebrating our past with stories, pictures, and memorabilia of the history of Sterling College, we will also celebrate and share exciting new developments for the future of the College.  We are excited to share with you details about new construction on campus, the launch in 2018 of our first Master’s Degree programs and much more!

Located adjacent to the State Capital, The Dillon House was constructed in 1911 and has been beautifully restored by special friends of the College, Ross and Fern Freeman, who along with Sterling College Board Member and Topeka local Jim Turner and his wife Elza, will be our gracious hosts for the evening.

There is no charge to attend this event. Dress is casual, jeans are welcome as are children. Heavy hors d’oeuvres for all ages will be served along with soft drinks and dessert. Parking is available along 9th Street, SW Harrison Street, and in the Dillon House and First Presbyterian Church lot. You will not be solicited for financial support at this event.

We are thankful you are a part of the discernibly different Sterling College family. Please join us July 27 and be a part of the celebration!
