Meek flower shop assistant, Seymour pines for co-worker Audrey in this cult-classic favorite based on the 1986 movie. After finding a highly unusal plant that he aptly names Audrey II, Seymour accidently discovers that in order for it to grow - it must eat human flesh. With the growing plant comes fame and business to Seymour and the struggling store- but it also brings the struggle of finding more people to feed to the plant in order for it to survive and for business to thrive. Along with these issues, Seymour struggles with his growing feeling towards Audrey, her bully of a boyfriend and his sense of making a name for himself. This show is a villinously good time that includes a little dance, a little Motown, and one BIG puppet of a plant!
